I come to find out through SIL that it is not, after all, a scammer after Dad, but a debt collector. For a past bill that is apparently several years old. Not even Mom knew this.

Still not a good situation. But better than the previous supposed one.

Am feeling very down on life and fed up with the world in general right now.
